The S6 e-tron has Car-to-X Services, a system that seamlessly communicates important warnings to the driver about impending danger, if they're available. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems from infrastructure or other vehicles.

The Audi S6 e-tron comes with a standard Top View Cameras and it also offers an optional rear camera washer to make backing always safe, regardless of road dirt or grime, while the Polestar 4 doesn’t offer a camera washer, requiring manual cleaning.

Both the S6 e-tron and the Polestar 4 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, post-collision automatic braking systems, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

There are almost 10 times as many Audi dealers as there are Polestar dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the S6 e-tron’s warranty.

For better traction and acceleration, the S6 e-tron has larger standard rear tires than the Polestar 4 (265/40R20 vs. 255/50R20). The S6 e-tron’s optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the Polestar 4 (275/35R21 vs. 265/40R22).

The S6 e-tron’s standard 235/45R20 front and 265/40R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 45 series front and 40 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Polestar 4’s standard 50 series tires. The S6 e-tron’s optional 275/35R21 rear tires have a lower 35 series profile than the Polestar 4 Performance Pack’s 40 series tires.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the S6 e-tron can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The front and rear suspension of the S6 e-tron uses air springs for a smoother, controlled ride than the Polestar 4, which uses coil springs. Air springs maintain proper ride height and ride more smoothly.

The S6 e-tron has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The S6 e-tron’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

The design of the Audi S6 e-tron amounts to more than styling. The S6 e-tron has an aerodynamic coefficient of drag of .24 Cd. That is lower than the Polestar 4 (.261) and many sports cars. A more efficient exterior helps keep the interior quieter and helps the S6 e-tron get better fuel mileage.

The S6 e-tron has a much larger cargo volume than the Polestar 4 with its rear seat up (26 vs. 18.6 cubic feet).

A Service Interval Display is standard on the S6 e-tron to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals based on odometer mileage. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Polestar doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Polestar 4.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The S6 e-tron Premium Plus/Prestige has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer headlight washers.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the S6 e-tron has standard extendable sun visors. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer extendable visors.

The S6 e-tron’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Polestar 4’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.

Compared to the Polestar 4, the Audi S6 e-tron eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries with its standard integrated Homelink® universal remote controlled from the infotainment system.

The S6 e-tron Premium Plus/Prestige’s Park Assist Plus can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
