The S6 e-tron’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

The Audi S6 e-tron has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The S6 e-tron has a standard Secondary Collision Brake Assist, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

Earlier warning of stopped traffic, traffic signals, dangerous road conditions, weather, or accidents, can keep driver's safer and prevent crashes. The S6 e-tron has Car-to-X Services, a system that seamlessly communicates important warnings to the driver about impending danger, if they're available. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems from infrastructure or other vehicles.

The Audi S6 e-tron comes with a standard Top View Cameras and it also offers an optional rear camera washer to make backing always safe, regardless of road dirt or grime, while the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer a camera washer, requiring manual cleaning.

Both the S6 e-tron and the Ioniq 6 N have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

The Audi S6 e-tron weighs 428 pounds more than the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N. The NHTSA advises that heavier cars are much safer in collisions than their significantly lighter counterparts.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the S6 e-tron can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The front and rear suspension of the S6 e-tron uses air springs for a smoother, controlled ride than the Ioniq 6 N, which uses coil springs. Air springs maintain proper ride height and ride more smoothly.

The S6 e-tron has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The S6 e-tron’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

The design of the Audi S6 e-tron amounts to more than styling. The S6 e-tron has an aerodynamic coefficient of drag of .24 Cd. That is significantly lower than the Ioniq 6 N (.276) and many sports cars. A more efficient exterior helps keep the interior quieter and helps the S6 e-tron get better fuel mileage.

A Service Interval Display is standard on the S6 e-tron to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals based on odometer mileage. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Hyundai doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Ioniq 6 N.

The S6 e-tron has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

When different drivers share the S6 e-tron, the memory system makes it convenient. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver’s seat position, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer a memory system.

The S6 e-tron offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed, navigation instruction and driver assistance information readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

The S6 e-tron’s front and rear power windows all open or close fully with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The Ioniq 6 N’s rear power window switches have to be held the entire time to open or close them fully.

The S6 e-tron’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Ioniq 6 N’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

If the windows are left open on the S6 e-tron the driver can close all of them at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Ioniq 6 N can only close the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The S6 e-tron Premium Plus/Prestige has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer headlight washers.

To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the S6 e-tron has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer cornering lights.

The S6 e-tron’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Ioniq 6 N’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.

The S6 e-tron’s standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Ioniq 6 N has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.

Both the S6 e-tron and the Ioniq 6 N have standard heated front seats. The S6 e-tron also has standard heated rear seats to keep those passengers extremely comfortable in the winter. Heated rear seats aren’t available in the Ioniq 6 N.

The S6 e-tron Premium Plus/Prestige’s Park Assist Plus can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The Ioniq 6 N doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
